Harry’s call of love helps give fan Freya big boost

A TEENAGER se­ri­ously in­jured in the at­tack re­ceived a phone call from her hero Harry Styles telling her he loved her.

Freya Lewis, 14, has been in in­ten­sive care at Royal Manch­ester Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal since the blast.

She had been at the con­cert with her best friend Nell Jones, also 14, who was trag­i­cally killed at the scene.

Freya suf­fered mul­ti­ple frac­tures, lac­er­a­tions and burns af­ter be­ing hit by fly­ing shrap­nel from the ex­plo­sion.

Her fam­ily say she faces a long road to re­cov­ery, and set up a blog via her school – Holmes Chapel Com­pre­hen­sive and Sixth Form in Cheshire – to keep peo­ple up­dated on her progress.

In a post they said that Freya was now awake and had re­ceived a call from former One Di­rec­tion singer Harry Styles wish­ing her well.

It post said: “The phone rang, and it was Harry Styles. Freya woke up, Harry said he loved her, she said she loved him, then Dad said he loved him!

“The PICU unit at Manch­ester Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal has just been given a lift like you can not imagine. Harry, we sa­lute you sir, Holmes Chapel is very proud of you!”
