Harry’s call of love helps give fan Freya big boost
A TEENAGER seriously injured in the attack received a phone call from her hero Harry Styles telling her he loved her.
Freya Lewis, 14, has been in intensive care at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital since the blast.
She had been at the concert with her best friend Nell Jones, also 14, who was tragically killed at the scene.
Freya suffered multiple fractures, lacerations and burns after being hit by flying shrapnel from the explosion.
Her family say she faces a long road to recovery, and set up a blog via her school – Holmes Chapel Comprehensive and Sixth Form in Cheshire – to keep people updated on her progress.
In a post they said that Freya was now awake and had received a call from former One Direction singer Harry Styles wishing her well.
It post said: “The phone rang, and it was Harry Styles. Freya woke up, Harry said he loved her, she said she loved him, then Dad said he loved him!
“The PICU unit at Manchester Children’s Hospital has just been given a lift like you can not imagine. Harry, we salute you sir, Holmes Chapel is very proud of you!”
