Peak trek for vulnerable
TEN-YEAR-OLD Freya Carnell climbed a mountain to support homeless and vulnerable people in our community.
Freya, who is a student at Adlington Primary School, trekked to the top of Mount Snowdon and raised £850 for The Cornerstone Day Centre, which provides services in Manchester for adults with social issues.
Freya’s mum Jo said they are all proud of Freya’s achievement. She said: “She now wants to climb Scafell and Ben Nevis and has Everest in her sights!”
