Teenagers have time of their lives

Macclesfield Express - - SCHOOL PROMS 2017 - 3 PAGE SPECIAL -

TEENAGERS across the town put on their glad rags for their end of school proms.

The glamorous parties are organised to celebrate the end of exams, the end of the school year, and for some, the end of school, as they head on to pastures new.

Students from Fallibroome Academy, Tytherington School and All Hallows all celebrated with parties at the swanky Shrigley Hall Hotel, while King’s Sixth Formers headed to the Hilltop Country House Hotel in Prestbury.

Poynton High School’s prom was at the Tytherington Club, and students from Macclesfield Academy danced the night away at Hollin Hall Hotel in Kerridge.

These two pictures (right and above) show students at All Hallows Catholic College, who started their next adventure with a bang when they headed to Shrigley Hall Hotel.

The students, who have all completed their GCSEs, were given VIP treatment as they danced the night away.

A spokesman for the school said: “The stunning and elegant array of colours and styles from the prom dresses was suitably matched by the suave and sophisticated formal attire of the young gentlemen, adding to the ambience of the evening.

“The Year 11 Prom was enjoyed by all students and their teachers. After enjoying a formal reception and three course dinner, students then danced the night away to their choice of music.”
