Fake goods seized

COUNTERFEIT goods were seized af­ter a raid at a house in Mac­cles­field.

A coun­cil spokesman said: “An op­er­a­tion took place in­volv­ing trad­ing stan­dards and po­lice re­lat­ing to goods sold on the in­ter­net. Items were seized fol­low­ing com­plaints made un­der the Trade Marks Act. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are on­go­ing. No ar­rests were made.” The op­er­a­tion was on Wed­nes­day, July 19.
