Kerridge find form at last
AFTER some poor results of late, Kerridge finally found some form with the bat at home to Mellor on Saturday.
After being invited to bat first Kerridge made 44 before losing Alan Harbige for 10.
Andy McKeith and Ste Regan added 66 before McKeith holed out for 24.
Regan was the next to go for 69, a great knock which will be a huge confidence booster for him. Josh Capper and James Knight kept the momentum going adding 74 before Capper departed for 13 , when the 5th wicket went on 224 the last 5 overs were a joy to watch as Knight brought up his century as he despatched the bowlers to all parts to remain unbeaten on 120* with Alex Grimes also 23*.
Kerridge finished on 287/5 after 45 overs.
Mellor in reply could only muster 66 runs in 42 overs (having lost 3 overs to the rain) for the loss of 7 wickets, with man of the match Knight taking 4/16 off 14 overs.
Alex Grimes took 2/22 off 10 and Tom Gaskell 1/14 the other. Disappointed not to secure a win but will take 16 points and a lot of heart from finally seeing everyone in the runs again.

Next up for Kerridge is a short trip over to Hartford
