Fantastic weekend of racing for college’s
ALL HALLOWS AND MACCLESFIELD SCHOOLS KART CLUB
THE final race meeting of the 2017 Natska (National schools karting association) championships, round 12 ‘The Natska national Sprints’ which is a two day race meeting held at Llandow kart circuit down in South Wales at the beginning of July,
AMS Kart Club had five drivers entered competing against 11 other kart clubs from around England and around 120 drivers,
Joseph Loake from All Hallows Catholic College in his Class 11 Honda GX160 on the first day he suffered a technical issue a seized engine and after swapping engines and some impressive racing Joseph finished the race meeting third overall.
That meant he went on to win the 2017 Natska Class 11 Championship, which in its 5 year history had been previously won by two other AMS Drivers Jordan Brown in 2014 and Ciara Power in 2015,
Jordan Brown formally an All Hallows pupil, in his class 15 high power Junior Rotax drove a faultless weekend taking the Class 15 2017 Natska championship down to the last race.
Jordan finished the weekend’s race meeting first overall, winning the 2017 Natska National sprints and securing the 2017 Natska Class 15 National Championship.
Ciara Power from Fallibroome Academy in her Class 7 TKM kart drove a fantastic race weekend to finish 12th overall from a grid of 30 karts in the Class 7 2017 Natska National Sprints and securing 7th place in the Class 7 2017 Natska National Championships, a strong drive all year.
Tom Rayer also from Fallibroome Academy in his Class 11 Honda GX160 drove an ever improving race weekend and being only his third race meeting in Class 11
