APAIR of brothers hurled vile racist abuse at a supermar- ket worker before one of them threatened a shopper with a knife.

Maximillian Newcombe, 20, and his younger brother Tobias, 18, targeted Kieron Ainsworth as he worked at the Tesco store on Hibel Road.

Maximillian Newcombe, of London Road, Macclesfield, told him to ‘shave his beard’ and ‘go blow something up’.

The brothers, who were at the self-service check-out section, then turned on shopper Callum McKinstry who intervened when he witnessed the abuse.

Tobias Newcombe, of Brynmore Drive, made derogatory comments about Mr McKinstry’s partner, and had to be ‘dragged out’ by his brother after he went out of the shop and returned with a Stanley knife and threatened to stab Mr McKinstry.
