Boyfriend smashed window
AN angry boyfriend shouted threats at his pregnant partner and broke a window during a drunken row.
Benjamin Robert Simpson, 25, of Great King Street, Macclesfield, became angry when his partner locked him out of the house when he had been out drinking.
He banged on the door shouting threats, and neighbours called the police, Stockport Magistrates heard. He was removed by police but later returned and police were called again. He broke a bedroom window and damaged a door.
Simpson admitted criminal damage and using threatening behaviour on July 23.
Defending, Lisa Morton said: “He made admissions to everything at interview and said he hadn’t intended to break the window. He accepts he was angry and drunk and has expressed remorse.”
He will be sentenced on August 16 at Stockport Magistrates and must not contact the victim.
