Man, 39, exposed himself to boys

Macclesfield Express - - BEFORE THE BENCH - STUART GREER

APERVERT is facing jail for committing sex acts in front of young boys in a park.

Christian Thomas Taylor, 39, engaged in sexual activity twice at Bollington Recreation Ground in March and June.

The first incident happened between March 1 and 31 in front of a 12-year-old boy.

Taylor, from Macclesfield, then returned to the same place on June 18 and performed a similar sex act in front of an 11-yearold. While exposing himself he then invited the victim to touch him.

At Chester Crown Court Taylor, of Percyvale Street, admitted two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 13 for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, and one charge of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

Appearing via video link from prison in front of Judge Nicholas Woodward, Taylor was remanded in custody to be sentenced at the same court on August 17.

The probation service will now interview Taylor to ascertain what led to his offending with a view to recommending what type of punishment he should get.

Taylor will have to sign on to the Sex Offenders’ Register for a number of years.

This means he will be required to notify the police if he changes his name or address, or plans to travel outside the UK.

Police launched a manhunt on July 4 after reports of suspicious behaviour near the toilets and skate park at the recreation ground on Adlington Road, Bollington.

They issued an appeal with a description and within a week Taylor had been arrested.

At the time Detective Inspector Claire Jesson praised the bravery of the victims in coming forward. DO YOU want to give your home a new look for less? Have you recently bought a new house and need to fit it out with gorgeous fixtures?
