Unit pa­tients put art­work on dis­play

PA­TIENTS at Lime Walk House in Mac­cles­field have shared their work with friends and fam­ily as part of the unit’s ‘Re­cov­ery Fes­ti­val’.

The men­tal health unit, run by Cheshire and Wir­ral Part­ner­ship NHS Foun­da­tion Trust (CWP), hosted its third an­nual fes­ti­val to al­low ser­vice users to dis­play and auc­tion their art­work as part of fundrais­ing for the trust’s char­ity.

The event also fea­tured live mu­sic, a bar­be­cue, cake sale, raf­fle and car­ni­val games.

More than 50 peo­ple joined ser­vice users and staff at Lime Walk House, which of­fers as­sess­ment, re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion and ther­a­pies for men­tal health pa­tients from across Cheshire.

Lime Walk House Unit Man­ager Nar­gus Yasin said: “Events like to­day are fan­tas­tic be­cause they bring staff, ser­vice users, friends and fam­ily to­gether. I’d like to thank our ser­vice users for putting on a great event and friends and fam­ily who have come to find out more about the work we do.”
