Grey does mat­ter as quizzers come out on top

THE lat­est East Cheshire Hospice quiz night once again came up with the right an­swer on how to stage a suc­cess­ful fundrais­ing evening.

More than £1,500 was raised for the hospice with the team ‘Does Grey Mat­ter?’ com­ing out on top.

The quiz is held three times a year at Marl­bor­ough Pri­mary School and Paul Mor­ris­sey and Mark Watson asked the ques­tions.

Or­gan­iser Ali­son Bram­mer said: “We had an­other great turn out and ev­ery­one had a good time.

“I’d like to thank quiz team mem­bers for their gen­er­ous sup­port, Nik Kalka and his team for run­ning the bar, Storm Brew­ing for do­nat­ing the beer, Marl­bor­ough for use of the venue, Rob and the hospice kitchen staff and the vol­un­teer cake bak­ers for the de­li­cious sup­per.”

The next quiz is on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber, 20. Teams are eight max­i­mum and any­one in­ter­ested in tak­ing part can call the hospice fundrais­ing team on 01625 433477.
