Grey does matter as quizzers come out on top
THE latest East Cheshire Hospice quiz night once again came up with the right answer on how to stage a successful fundraising evening.
More than £1,500 was raised for the hospice with the team ‘Does Grey Matter?’ coming out on top.
The quiz is held three times a year at Marlborough Primary School and Paul Morrissey and Mark Watson asked the questions.
Organiser Alison Brammer said: “We had another great turn out and everyone had a good time.
“I’d like to thank quiz team members for their generous support, Nik Kalka and his team for running the bar, Storm Brewing for donating the beer, Marlborough for use of the venue, Rob and the hospice kitchen staff and the volunteer cake bakers for the delicious supper.”
The next quiz is on Friday, October, 20. Teams are eight maximum and anyone interested in taking part can call the hospice fundraising team on 01625 433477.
