Manager hopes to mold French striker
JOHN Askey has backed new signing Gime Toure to make an impact after he joined Macclesfield Town.
The 23-year-old forward has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Moss Rose after impressing during a trial period.
Askey is glad to have him at the club, and hopes that he can make improvements throughout the season and have a successful campaign with the Silkmen.
“He’s looked good. Obviously, I think he needs to work on getting a few more goals and I’m hoping we can work on that during his time here,” he told the club’s official website.
“He’s only 23, so he should be at a good age to work and improve on the areas of his game that need a bit of work on. It’ll be good for him to prove himself as a player in English football and hopefully make a name for himself.”
