Hall raises £82,000 for NSPCC
HOTEL staff are celebrating after doing their bit to raise £82,000 for a children’s charity.
Mottram Hall has spent the past year raising money for the NSPCC after QHotels, which runs the venue, formed an official partnership with the charity.
Mottram Hall employees have embraced fundraising by taking part in a number of challenges throughout the year including the Great Manchester Run, and customers were given the option to make a £1 option to the charity when booking.
Deirdre Billing, general manager at Mottram Hall, in Mottram St Andrew, said: “It’s been a real privilege to support the NSPCC over the past year and we have been blown away by the efforts and commitment that has gone into the impressive fundraising schedule, resulting in us surpassing our ambitious fundraising target by almost £10,000.
“Going into our second year of partnership, we’re determined to keep breaking targets to raise money for this incredibly important cause with a range of creative activities and events for our guests.”
Mottram Hall includes a golf course, spa, pool, fitness suite, conference centre and wedding facilities.
