Royalty crowned at summer fair
ASH Grove Academy combined the grand opening of their new building with the annual Rose Queen and summer fair celebration.
The lord Lieutenant of Cheshire was given the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially opening the building, which will enable provision for two-yearolds from September.
He also crowned the new Rose King and Queen, and made a speech.
After the opening, the Moss Rose brass band played and the summer fair got underway with stalls, inflatables and a raffle with amazing prices – including a Manchester United football signed by the team.
A spokesperson for the academy said: “The whole day was an amazing success enjoyed by staff, parents and the community.”
