‘Thanks for your support’ – mum
THE parents of brave Samuel Bellerby have expressed their gratitude after receiving overwhelming support during his battle with serious heart disease.
Sam’s mother Lisa said: “First of all, Macclesfield hospital have been phenomenal - especially Dr Wright who has been incredible. Without him, we don’t think Sam would be alive now.”
Lisa also expressed her gratitude to the staff at Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool.
She said: “I can’t sing their praises enough - our kids have seen things that no child should and if it wasn’t for their support, I don’t know what we’d have done.”
Lisa said: “Our older boys Alfie and Luis are amazing and definitely a credit to us - they’re so good with Sam. Their school, St John’s primary, have been amazing, offering counselling and support for the boys”
The pair have also received incredible support from family and friends.
She said: “Our parents have been great too - my dad has even taken the boys to Cyprus so they can have a break. Thanks also go to Lisa Flynn, who doesn’t know us that well, but started all our fundraising.”
