Busi­nesses can grow at break­fast work­shop

A WORK­SHOP is be­ing held for busi­nesses to get tips on how to grow.

The coun­cil is run­ning the free break­fast work­shop at Alder­ley Park with ex­perts speak­ing on sub­jects in­clud­ing ben­e­fit­ing from tax re­lief, how to ex­port to new mar­kets and in­tel­lec­tual prop­erty.

Cheshire East’s arms-length Skills and Growth Com­pany is host­ing the innovation break­fast.

Coun Don Stock­ton, cab­i­net mem­ber with re­spon­si­bil­ity for the Skills and Growth Com­pany, said: “This is an ex­cel­lent op­por­tu­nity for busi­nesses from small and medium sized en­ter­prises through to larger cor­po­rates to en­gage with ex­perts who are forg­ing in­no­va­tive part­ner­ships all the time.

“The speak­ers have a wide range of ex­per­tise and we are pleased to be able to host this event and en­cour­age fur­ther innovation in Cheshire East.”

A busi­ness ex­pert from Lan­caster Univer­sity, and rep­re­sen­ta­tives from The Depart­ment for In­ter­na­tional Trade and patent at­tor­ney Marks and Clerk are among those speak­ing.
