Charity fashion show is a hit
STUDENTS at Tytherington School took part in a fashion show in a school fundraising event.
More than 50 students took part in the event, which featured clothing designed by textile students, and raised £1,000 for the school.
Headteacher, Manny Botwe said: “I am extremely proud of the students who took part.
“It takes a great deal of courage to model on the runway.
“A huge thank you to Mrs Sandbach and Mrs Woods for being the brains behind such an excellent event. It is yet another reminder that there is so much more to schools than just league tables. We want our youngsters to be well- rounded and to be exposed to a range of experiences. Well done to all.”
As well as clothes designed by classmates, the students and teachers also wore items loaned by local shops.
