King’s unfazed by Harrow prospect

KING’S rugby stars will provide the curtain raiser for the England versus Canada women’s international when they take on Harrow School at Allianz Park this Friday.
They will take to the artificial surface, home to European Champions, Saracens, at 4.30pm ahead of the international at 7.30pm, to face one of the strongest sides in the country currently on top form.
Harrow remain undefeated after big wins versus Warwick School, Dulwich and Eton College but a tough King’s unit will hope to cause a major upset and turn over the Harrovians who are captained by fly half Manu Vunipola, brother of the two England internationals.
“King’s will not be fazed by the task,” said Head of Rugby Giles Hetherington. “We have lost just once in the last seven matches, against Glenstal Abbey from Limmerick, a side that contained the Ireland U18s Fly Half and have already secured a place in the National Schools Cup Last-16 after easing past local rivals Cheadle Hulme 33-7.
King’s have their own stars and will contain Sale Sharks Academy pair Will Davies and Ollie Leatherbarrow, as well as Cheshire and RGC player Sion Davenport, while captain and Number 8, Owen Jones will lead from the front.
