HAWKING FILM

POYNTON Methodist Church will be starting a special film group this week.

The group will look at the life of late professor Stephen Hawking and will start with a screening of the recent bio-pic, ‘The Theory of Everything’ at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 16, at the church.

Over the following five weeks there will be a series of discussions, which look at different topics surrounding the film.

The first discussion will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday, June 19 at the church.

OPEN DAY

BROKEN Cross Primary Nursery are holding open days for toddlers.

Parents are invited to bring their children to the taster sessions will be on Wednesday, June 16 and Saturday, June 19 from 1.30pm to 3pm.

There is no need to book. The nursery is on Parkett Heyes Road.
