A spooky night for all the ghouls and boys

Manchester Evening News - - NEWS -

GHOSTS, ghouls, vampires and monsters will be welcomed to a Halloween fun run at Heaton Park.

Families are invited to dress up and tackle the 5k route on Sunday, October 29, to raise money for charity Dreams Come True.

Mums, dads, children and grandparents alike will be taking part in the fun event, which starts and ends outside of the Grade I listed Heaton Hall.

But they are warned to watch out for the spooky residents, who will be around the course on the look out for the visitors.

All who ‘survive’ the event will receive a finisher’s bag, which will include a very special glow-in-the-dark medal.

Dreams Come True helps children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

Over the past 29 years they have helped more than 5,500 children and young people as well as their friends, family and carers.

The charity is asking people to raise a minimum of £25 as an adult participant or £10 for anyone under the age of 15.
