Dick’s in panto – oh yes, he is!

Manchester Evening News - - NEWS -

DICK Whittington is coming to Oldham this Christmas.

This year’s pantomime at the Coliseum Theatre will tell the story of the poor young lad and his rat-catching cat, who set off to find fame, fortune and adventure in London.

But the path to happily-everafter isn’t always that easy, and King Rat hatches an evil scheme to get Dick out of his city.

The Coliseum’s traditional pantomime has been entertaining families for generations, and this year’s show promises to be packed with gags, thigh-slapping songs, and generous helpings of all-important audience participation.

The Coliseum’s pantomime dame, Fine Time Fontayne, is back and will be joined on stage by Simeon Truby, everyone’s favourite silly billy Richard J Fletcher, and top singing fairly Liz Carney.

Dick Whittington will be on from Saturday, November 11, to Saturday, January 14.
