I SAW Andy Burham yes­ter­day walk­ing in the street. When he saw a home­less woman, he went to speak to her, went on his hunches, took a notepad from his pocket and started tak­ing notes. He is se­ri­ous about these is­sues. Peo­ple pick up on this en­ergy to tackle prob­lems. Grace Bwanali A LOT of the home­less prob­lem to­day ex­ists be­cause of the bru­tal­ity in­tro­duced by the Tories and their univer­sal credit rules. It makes it im­pos­si­ble for any­body home­less to get a chance of a flat. Ge­off Purdy IT’S re­fresh­ing to see more ac­com­mo­da­tion be­ing pro­vided – let’s hope this will be the first of many.
