Police in appeal to find man, 25
GREATER Manchester Police have issued a picture of a man they want to speak to following stabbings in Wigan on Christmas Day.
They are keen to trace Devenn Sutherman, 25, of Nelson Square, Bolton. Officers were called to Hindley in Wigan on December 25 after a man was stabbed several times.
A woman had also been assaulted and stabbed.
Police, who have launched attempted murder and assault inquiries, believe Mr Sutherman has links to the areas of Hindley and Bolton.
A statement from police said: “Sutherman is actively evading police and all efforts to trace him so far have been unsuccessful.”
Anyone with information about Mr Sutherman’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 7225 or 101 – and is warned by police not to approach him. Reports can also be made anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
