‘Delivery driver’ attacked for car

A DRIVER was left seriously injured after he was attacked and his car was stolen.

The victim, who is thought to be a takeaway delivery driver, is believed to have been called to an address on Highworth Drive in Moston.

The 57-year-old was then assaulted by an attacker. His car and phone were stolen during the incident.

Police were first called to the scene at around 9pm on Saturday, January 6, and discovered the man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigat­ion and are appealing for anyone with further informatio­n to get in touch.
