Woman smashes into parked cars

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car smashed into several parked vehicles.

The incident took place in the car park of the Regent Retail Park, on Regent Road, in Ordsall, Salford near to the Poundstretcher shop.

Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene of the crash. Nobody was inside the parked vehicles.

The woman was taken to hospital in an ambulance, however, a spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said the woman was not believed to have suffered from any serious injuries and was taken as a precaution.
