David to make heads turn at Arena

TALKING Head David Byrne has extended his American Utopia world tour with an Arena date.

The artist will finish up the run at Manchester Arena on November 2.

He’s also performing in Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Brighton and Nottingham.

This comes after he sold out his summer tour, which is taking place this June – including an O2 Apollo date in Manchester next week.

Byrne will be performing songs from his critically acclaimed album, American Utopia, as well as classics from his solo career, and his days with Talking Heads.

Since his time in the band he’s received Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy Awards.

He will be supported by singer-songwriter, Benjamin Clementine, during the run.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, June 15, via ticketmast­er.co. uk or AXS.com.

Tickets are priced between £33.50 £110.00, plus booking fees.

Tour dates: October 21 – Leeds, First Direct Arena; October 22 – Glasgow, SSE Hydro; October 26 – Birmingham, Genting Arena; October 27 – Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena October 29 – London, O2 Arena; October 30 – Brighton Centre; November 1 – Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena; November 2 – Manchester Arena.
