Tram death victim named
A MAN who died following a collision with a tram in Oldham last week has been named.
The incident close to Sainsbury’s on Union Street took place shortly before 12.20am last Saturday.
The dead man has now been formally named as 42-year-old Marvin Coley.
He was taken to hospital but died later due to a head injury.
His family are being supported by police officers.
Pc Paul Hailwood, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with Marvin’s family at this difficult time as they face the loss of their loved one. It’s for them that we need to find witnesses who can help our investigation into how this collision happened, to find the answers they deserve.
