Man’s body is found in house

THE body of a man was found at a house in Traf­ford.

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for the pub­lic’s help to find any mem­bers of his fam­ily.

The death is not be­ing treated as sus­pi­cious, Greater Manch­ester Po­lice said.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports of­fi­cers sealed off a house on Cole­brook Road in Tim­per­ley, Al­trin­cham, on Thurs­day after­noon.

A foren­sic tent was also po­si­tioned out­side the prop­erty.

The man has been named by po­lice as Graeme South­ward, 72.

GMP have now is­sued an ap­peal to trace any rel­a­tives of Mr South­ward.

The force con­firmed he was found dead at home.

A spokesman said: “Of­fi­cers are try­ing to make con­tact with the fam­ily. Graeme South­ward was found dead at his home on Cole­brook Road in Tim­per­ley on Thurs­day, July 12. There are no sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing his death.

“Un­for­tu­nately, de­spite en­quiries, we have been un­able to trace his fam­ily so far.”
