You bee-auty! Former Lord Mayor designs Pride cases

Manchester Evening News - - NEWS -

THE former Lord Mayor of Manchester Carl Austin-Behan has designed a range of travel cases dedicated to celebrating LGBT pride.

Carl, the first openly gay Lord Mayor of Manchester and new LGBT advisor to the city, has teamed up with travel accessory designer and manufacturer Kitkase to create a bold and colourful case raising funds for The Albert Kennedy Trust.

The idea for the new Pride Edition range came about after Carl saw the work Kitkase were doing for the We Love MCR fund by creating their Manchester worker bee cases, which has been seen with a host of celebs.

He contacted the company and they produced a range designed by Carl and dedicated to supporting the LGBT community, with 25 per cent of the profits going to homeless charity The Albert Kennedy Trust – which supports LGBT young people who are homeless, living in a hostile environment or in housing crisis.

The two case designs are available to pre-order now on kitkase.com and are priced at £54.99.
