Demo ride brilliant bikes

The line up of test bikes at this years Carole Nash MCN Festival is growing every day and the latest additions are some of the most sought - after machines of 2017. Triumph’s Street Triple RS wowed the MCN road testers earlier this month with its sublime handling and power delivery, Kawasaki’s Z900 has built on the already impressive Z800 platform and the new aircooled 797 Ducati Monster (see page 30) recaptures the original bike’s magic. Yamaha’s MT-09 was already an incredible machine but has been refined and improved for 2017. And you can ride them all! The Carole Nash MCN Festival in May is the ideal place to try a massive range of bike from all the major manufacturers. Huge test fleets will be available to book on the day, just bring riding kit and your licence. More bikes will be added as we get closer to event, keep eye on www.mcnfestival.com. The Carole Nash MCN Festival takes place at the East of England Arena in Peterborough on May 13-14. There’s a lot to pack in so camping is a good plan, with tickets from just £30, day tickets are £16. A camping ticket also gets you access to the Yamaha Dark Side party on Friday and Saturday night and a speedway meeting on Saturday evening. If you don’t camp you can still see the speedway, but you’ll need to buy an entry ticket on the gate (£16).
