We should back CoW
Well perceived letter from David Robertshaw (MCN Letters, March 15) regarding the Circuit of Wales. View a virtual lap on www.walesonline.co.uk and you will see why the development has the backing of MotoGP. It could become the best circuit in Britain – if not one of the best in Europe or even the world. Taking a less indulgent view however, it will create greatly needed technology and engineering employment in the local and wider areas. It deserves full support rather than people knocking the project. Let’s wait and see what happens – it could be that we are in for something very special. David Thomas, Swansea Ed: Let’s hope the circuit does get built and is as good as promised. The delays and controversy around funding is what’s caused the debate, but once finished it’s sure to win doubters over.
