Guy’s got the kettle on for charity
‘The spinal research lot are giving people hope’
Guy Martin has become a Patron of the UK charity Spinal Research and is offering people taking part in his ‘Big Brew’ fundraising event the chance to meet him in person.
“I was very honoured to be asked to be a Patron of Spinal Research,” said Guy. “If it helps raise awareness and finds a cure for paralysis then let’s have it. I’m not sure what a patron is but I’m told it will help, so spot on. The Spinal Research lot are working hard to research and give hope to people with spinal cord damage and paralysis. Please support them if you can.” Guy has supported the charity with his Big Brew event since 2011, becoming interested in the charity after his crash in the 2010 TT where he suffered fractures to his upper spine. Everyone that organises a Guy Martin Big Brew will be entered into a draw to meet Guy later this year. You can be part of Guy Martin’s Big Brew simply by organising a rideout and raising a bit of cash. The money raised will fund research into treatments.
