When everything comes together on the R6 there is simply no other bike on the market which can match its madness and spinetingling appetite for revs. But that only happens for a fraction of the time, maybe less than 10%. And you really need to change the tyres, revise the suspension and allow it to breathe with a race exhaust. The Ducati is far easier to live with, is quicker, lapped Brands faster and comes with more rider aids. You don’t need to modify or change the standard bike because it’s almost perfect out of the showroom. You’ll love the Ducati for 90% of the time, and hate it for 10% (while the Yamaha is the opposite).
