Kawasaki re­veal A2 li­cence cracker


If the H2 SX SE wasn’t ad­vanced enough with its su­per­charger this and IMU that, Kawasaki have pushed the new H2 SX SE+ fur­ther still for 2019.

The big­gest change is the ad­di­tion of semi-ac­tive elec­tronic sus­pen­sion de­vel­oped from the Showa sys­tem used on the Ninja ZX-10R SE. With base char­ac­ter­is­tics linked to the rid­ing modes, the sus­pen­sion au­to­mat­i­cally ad­justs the damp­ing to suit road con­di­tions, with re­ac­tion times of just one mil­lisec­ond. Preload can also be ad­justed via three modes (Rider Only, Rider with Lug­gage and Rider with Pas­sen­ger and Lug­gage), with small ad­just­ments ei­ther way. The SE+ builds on the stan­dard SE in other ways too, in­clud­ing the ad­di­tion of Brembo Stylema front calipers, smart­phone con­nec­tiv­ity and in­te­grated rid­ing modes, which link the trac­tion con­trol, power mode and sus­pen­sion. Kawasaki haven’t re­leased a price but with

the stan­dard SE al­ready cost­ing £18,099 we could eas­ily see the SE+ ex­ceed­ing £20,000.
