Hold a medicine ball in both hands and stand with feet shoulder--width apart. Raise the ball high, rising onto the balls of your feet, then contractact your core as you powerfully slam the ball into thethe floor in front of you. Catch the ball as it bouncesbounces up and continue into the next rep.

This isometric exercise works all the muscles of your front abdominal wall. Lie on your back and raise your arms, head, upper back and legs off the floor. Contract your abs to hold this position. If you can’t hold it for the required time, do it in chunks with five seconds’ rest between each.
