I def­i­nitely have a warm fuzzy feel­ing af­ter a GoodGym ses­sion – I can’t tell if it’s an en­dor­phin rush build-up, pride that I’ve helped some­body or a com­bi­na­tion of both, but I like it any­way. How­ever, the fit­ness ben­e­fits are strictly those long-term ones out­lined by the Bri­tish Med­i­cal Coun­cil. It’ll get you fit­ter than sim­ply do­ing char­i­ta­ble works, and it’ll ob­vi­ously help oth­ers more than sim­ply work­ing out will. It might not do you as much good as a more struc­tured plan, but it’ll help you sleep bet­ter at night – and that cer­tainly won’t hurt. goodgym.org
