Get­ting up and out into the morn­ing sun­shine can dra­mat­i­cally in­crease your body’s pro­duc­tion of testos­terone, ac­cord­ing to a study from the Univer­sity of Cal­i­for­nia. Re­searchers found that ex­po­sure to bright light first thing in­creased lev­els of lutein­is­ing hor­mone – a pi­tu­itary gland hor­mone that in­structs Ley­dig cells in the testes to pro­duce the pri­mary male sex hor­mone – by a mas­sive 69.5%. 1 2 3 4
