The higher your body fat per­cent­age, the more likely you are to have low testos­terone – but shift­ing your spare tyre can quickly send your lev­els soar­ing. A study of nearly 300 over­weight men found that those who ex­er­cised for2 ½ hours a week for a year lost an av­er­age of 7.8kg, while the preva­lence of low T in the group fell from 20% to just 11%, ac­cord­ing to the En­docrine So­ci­ety.
