INGREDIENTS SERVES 8 TENDERSTEM BROCCOLI, 500G TAHINI PASTE, 200G POMEGRANATE MOLASSES POMEGRANATE SEEDS, 150G DRY ROASTED PEANUTS, 100G

METHOD

1/ Blanch the broccoli before grilling for five minutes. As well as reducing bad cholesterol, broccoli’s B vits help regulate the amino acid homocysteine, which, according to Harvard Uni, builds up after eating excessive amounts of red meat and increases your risk of coronary artery disease. 2/ Pour over the tahini and molasses. Made from sesame seeds, plant lignans in tahini improve blood lipid profiles, rebalancing your cholesterol. 3/ To finish, sprinkle over the blood pressure-lowering pomegranate seeds and nuts. It’s the tastiest way to top up your dish’s health credentials. With thanks to Smokestak
