10sec GOG­GLES UP But keep them on un­til you have un­zipped. Re­move both your cap and your gog­gles as you pull your arms out, tuck­ing them into the sleeve so you have two hands free. 30sec HALF-TIME Now un­zip your wet­suit, but don’t stop run­ning as you pull it down to your hips. Leave your legs in fully, so you can sprint freely un­til you reach your bike. 50sec THE BIG PULL At your bike, pull your wet­suit down as far as it’ll go in one force­ful move­ment. You need to be quick: once wa­ter drains out of the suit, it becomes harder to take off. 60sec FI­NAL RE­LEASE Rub your shins and an­kles with Vase­line be­fore the race. Now stand on your wet­suit with one foot. In one move, yank the other foot up and out. Re­peat and you’re free.
