NHS Still Using Windows XP
‘Help us to ruin someone else’s day’
The vast majority of NHS Trusts are using Windows XP systems, despite Microsoft having stopped support for the OS over two years ago.
This has come to light thanks to a Freedom of Information request from software firm Citrix and 24 of the Trusts are reported to be additionally not sure when they will move from Windows XP. With no security updates or fixes from Microsoft, this surely means that the Trusts’s systems are somewhat more vulnerable to security issues or hacking?
