The governing body of the borough’s Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) is meeting at Number One Riverside between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Among the items due to be discussed are corporate and HR policies; quality and performance reports; the 2017 annual report and the locality plan and cardiac rehabilitation mobilisation programme.

Members of the public are also invited to ask questions about local health services, which can either be submitted online in advance or asked during the open questions slot at the start of the meeting.

Anyone submitting questions in advance is asked to do so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences and to arrive half an hour before the meeting begins.

Chris Duffy, chair of HMR CCG, said: “Our governing body meetings are a great opportunity for residents to see for themselves how we plan and purchase health services in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale and we encourage local people to attend.

“Public questions are an important part of our meetings and I’d urge anyone with a question to submit it so we can respond.

“If you can’t make it to the meetings follow us on Twitter @NHSHMR for live tweets giving an overview of items being discussed an decisions made.”
