Man charged af­ter shots fired at car

A MAN has been charged with pos­sess­ing a firearm af­ter shots were fired at a car

Po­lice were called to Bowker Street in Black­ley in the mid­dle of the af­ter­noon on Wed­nes­day, May 24, fol­low­ing re­ports of gun shots.

Steven McDon­agh, 39, of Rochdale Road, Black­ley, has been charged with pos­sess­ing a firearm with in­tent to cause fear of vi­o­lence.

He ap­peared at Manch­ester Mag­is­trates’ Court on Fri­day and was re­manded in cus­tody to ap­pear at Min­shull Street Crown Court on July 13.

Two other peo­ple were pre­vi­ously charged in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent, in which no one was in­jured.

Ka­mala Thomp­son, 33, of Brad­shaw Street, .Sal­ford, was charged with pos­sess­ing a firearm with in­tent to cause fear of vi­o­lence.

Martin Ho­gan, 25, of Tarn­brook Road, White­field, was charged with pos­sess­ing a firearm with in­tent to cause fear of vi­o­lence
