Dodgy char­ac­ters and pupils in the swing cel­e­brat­ing

PUPILS at Bowlee Park Com­mu­nity School were cel­e­brat­ing a dou­ble suc­cess.

Their dodge­ball and golf teams both put in ex­cel­lent per­for­mances to im­press on­look­ers at the Rochdale Schools fi­nals.

The dodge­ball team won gold by top­ping their group and beat­ing Holy Trin­ity Pri­mary in the fi­nal match.

The boys in­volved will now go on to rep­re­sent Rochdale Bor­ough at the Greater Manch­ester School Games later this month.

And the school’s golf team were also in ac­tion at the Rochdale Schools Tri-Golf Cham­pi­onships held at Car­di­nal Lan­g­ley.

Hav­ing qual­i­fied in May, the Year 5 and 6 boys and girls went on to se­cure sec­ond place over­all.
