Fes­ti­val’s big stage to see red

SH­EFFIELD band RedFaces are the lat­est act to be added to this year’s Rochdale Feel Good Fes­ti­val bill.

The four-piece will play the main stage on Satur­day, Au­gust 12.

Their de­but sin­gle Kerosene was re­leased this year, making BBC Ra­dio One’s ‘Best Of In­tro­duc­ing’ playlist and was named ‘Record of the Week’ by ra­dio sta­tions across the coun­try. They’ve been played on BBC 6 Mu­sic, com­pleted a head­line UK tour and played the Leeds and T in the Park fes­ti­vals.

The band, aptly named af­ter they turned red in front of the crowd at one of their early school gigs, com­prises pals Harry Lyon, Char­lie Yapp, Isaac White and Ryan Lay­cock.

Ra­zorlight, Manchester’s Baked A La Ska, Pa­cific, Mar­bel­head John­son, The Bright Black, The Kar­pets fronted by Tom Hin­g­ley, Honeyfeet, DJ Dave Sweet­more, the Ra­jasthan Her­itage Brass Band and the Del­phina Kings, have al­ready been an­nounced
