Tesco cock-up fraud­ster jailed

A TESCO worker has been jailed for two years after he cashed £57,000 worth of shares that were sent to him by ac­ci­dent.

Jef­frey Adams, 46, shares the same name as a se­nior Tesco ex­ec­u­tive and was in­ad­ver­tently given 23,000 shares which he kept and cashed.

Adams, from Bur­ton, Staffs, was jailed for two years at St Al­bans Crown Court after be­ing found guilty of two counts of fraud and one of money laun­der­ing.
