Sir’s trousers and baby oil joke to pupil

A TEACHER made jokes about tak­ing a pupil’s trousers down and rub­bing him with baby oil, a dis­ci­plinary hear­ing was told.

Ken­neth Dick­son, 29, had been work­ing at his school for just five weeks when con­cerns were raised about his con­duct.

It is said he hu­mil­i­ated pupils by mak­ing sex­ual jokes in class and star­ing at the chests of his fe­male stu­dents.

Giv­ing ev­i­dence be­fore the Gen­eral Teach­ing Coun­cil for Scot­land one 17-year-old boy said: “Mr Dick­son called me out and told me our prin­ci­pal wanted to see me.

“He said he (the head teacher) wanted me to take my trousers down and my top off so that he could rub baby oil on me.

“He started laugh­ing and said it was a joke, but I didn't think it was funny.”

Dick­son was sus­pended from Westray Ju­nior High School, Orkney, in 2008 and was later sacked. He de­nied the ac­cu­sa­tions but now faces be­ing struck off.
