A TEACHER made jokes about taking a pupil’s trousers down and rubbing him with baby oil, a disciplinary hearing was told.
Kenneth Dickson, 29, had been working at his school for just five weeks when concerns were raised about his conduct.
It is said he humiliated pupils by making sexual jokes in class and staring at the chests of his female students.
Giving evidence before the General Teaching Council for Scotland one 17-year-old boy said: “Mr Dickson called me out and told me our principal wanted to see me.
“He said he (the head teacher) wanted me to take my trousers down and my top off so that he could rub baby oil on me.
“He started laughing and said it was a joke, but I didn't think it was funny.”
Dickson was suspended from Westray Junior High School, Orkney, in 2008 and was later sacked. He denied the accusations but now faces being struck off.
The hearing continues.
