‘Poorly lady’ was 5 times over limit
A “POORLY lady” found slumped in a car by a primary schoolboy was FIVE times over the drink drive limit.
Former firefighter Alison Adcock, 45, had her eyes shut and her head on the headrest of her Vauxhall Vectra.
When the lad raised the alarm she had her seatbelt on and the car’s engine was running.
A court heard she was so drunk that she cannot remember if she had driven to the school in Tiverton, Devon, or had left the car there earlier.
She had downed half a bottle of vodka, and when asked by a teaching assistant what was wrong, replied: “My life.”
The mum of two admitted drink driving and told Exeter magistrates she is now seeking help with her drink problem.
They deferred sentence until January and banned her from driving till then.
