I’m Go so sorry for red card
STEVE GOHOURI has made a grovelling apology to his Wigan team-mates – as he reckons his red card against Tottenham cost his side a point.
Gohouri ended any hope of a comeback for Roberto Martinez’s men when he was sent off for a second foul on Gareth Bale in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat.
And now the Ivory Coast international has held his hands up and taken full responsibility.
He said: “I am still gutted, so devastated.
“That was the key moment in the game, because if we had kept 11 men on the pitch we would have got a draw minimum and possibly all three points.
“It was just one of those things. I thought I could get the ball, but I let the team down. And I know that.”
