Hard-up Brits spend on sex
RANDY Brits are splashing out to make sure their sex life stays healthy.
Despite the economic climate the nation’s men and women are still happy to fork out for good nookie.
A poll of more than 2,000 adults revealed 51 per cent spend more than £500 a year on sex toys, kinky lingerie, sexual equipment and protection to keep things ticking over in the bedroom.
The majority confessed to spending the most on underwear, laying out on average £220 a year.
Sex toys and aids set bonk-happy Brits back around £170 annually, and £65 is spent on condoms.
Mark Pearson, chairman of Myvouchercodes who carried out the research, said: “It is interesting to see that so much money is spent on this per year, and it’s obviously quite a priority for many Brits.”
