Hard-up Brits spend on sex

RANDY Brits are splash­ing out to make sure their sex life stays healthy.

De­spite the eco­nomic cli­mate the na­tion’s men and women are still happy to fork out for good nookie.

A poll of more than 2,000 adults re­vealed 51 per cent spend more than £500 a year on sex toys, kinky lin­gerie, sex­ual equip­ment and pro­tec­tion to keep things tick­ing over in the bed­room.

The ma­jor­ity con­fessed to spend­ing the most on un­der­wear, lay­ing out on av­er­age £220 a year.

Sex toys and aids set bonk-happy Brits back around £170 an­nu­ally, and £65 is spent on con­doms.

Mark Pear­son, chair­man of Myvoucher­codes who car­ried out the re­search, said: “It is in­ter­est­ing to see that so much money is spent on this per year, and it’s ob­vi­ously quite a pri­or­ity for many Brits.”
